
Keith is an entrepreneur, executive, and corporate strategist dedicated to transforming the digital landscape. His entrepreneurial career includes co-founding Kixer, The Happy Broadcast, and KMB Holdings.
Keith started his career as a corporate attorney at the global law firm of Latham & Watkins, LLP, where his practice focused on mergers & acquisitions, corporate securities, tech transactions, and company representation.
A self-proclaimed “recovered” lawyer, Keith transitioned to the business side in 2007, taking an executive role at Evolve Media, where he led the corporate development group and completed the acquisition and sale of over 20 digital properties, including the sale of the female lifestyle publishing division (SheKnows) to private equity in 2012.
Keith later joined a mobile startup, Scopely, where he led business operations and oversaw the early stages of growth for the business. Keith left Scopely to co-found the venture-backed mobile technology startup Kixer, where he served as CEO until its eight-figure sale to Nexstar (ticker: NXST) in 2015. Keith stayed at Nexstar as a General Manager of its digital subsidiary Lakana until 2016.
In 2024, after helping advise Ben Sherwood and Joanna Coles on their acquisition of a minority stake of The Daily Beast from Barry Diller’s IAC, Keith joined them as a partner and minority owner, also assuming the role of President and Chief Operating Officer to oversee the business.
Keith is the current President and COO of The Daily Beast, a leading news and entertainment publisher, and also serves as Chairman & Co-founder of Happy Broadcast, Inc, a network of mental health information and community products including the social community The Happy Broadcast, as well as mobile apps Whole and Lid. Keith has a passion for digital publishing and in leveraging platforms to increase creativity and positivity in the world. His interests in the mental health space include a desire to enhance the tools available to help improve mental health, specifically among teens and young adults. Keith lives in Los Angeles with his wife Monique and their three children Luca, Dominic, and Lorenzo.
Hometown & Education
Born and raised in Europe on the island of Malta. Keith spent a few years living in China (undergrad) and San Francisco (law school) and now resides in Los Angeles.
He holds a degree in economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a law degree from the University of California, San Francisco Law School (formerly Hastings College of the Law).

News, business, technology, politics, exercise, and sports. Avid LA sports fan (go Dodgers and Lakers!). Enjoys travel, working out, and spending time with family and friends.

Completed a 100 kilometer race in Belgium and two Spartan races in the same year.
